"When words fail, music speaks."
-Hans Christian Andersen
Music has always been a huge part of who I am. There were points in my life when it was my only saving grace. Growing up, you could always find me with headphones on listening to my favorite CD, and later, when technology enhanced, my iPod. My tastes range from country to rock- I was raised on Shania Twain and fell in love with a heavier sound as a teenager. My first concert was Taylor Swift and Keith Urban- yes, I was a Swiftie at one point! My favorite concert I’ve ever attended, though has to be The Goo Goo Dolls. Funny thing, I didn’t realize until years later that this was the only concert I didn’t buy merch for! My mom is the reason I’ve been able to attend so many concerts. Whenever there was someone I wanted to go see, she made sure it happened. I’m so grateful to have been able to be a part of those experiences. I hope to be able to do the same for my daughter one day.

About The Author
Hi! I’m Kali, a wife and mother of soon-to-be two kids!
I started this blog as a way to help people heal as well as to help heal myself. I know what it’s like to feel alone, to feel lost. I’ve been in situations where I turned to the internet for advice only to turn up with nothing. This led me to feel discouraged and lonely. If I can help one person who reads this blog then I’ve done my job.
Here, I discuss motherhood, healing from trauma, childhood, and my personal life experiences.
Life is a beautiful, emotional rollercoaster and it’s important to connect with others along the way. I hope to be a part of your journey! If there’s a topic you’d like me to cover, fill out the contact form below and I’ll be happy to talk about it!
Thanks for being here!
